Belair with new incentive

On 1st November 2007 the first of two Boeing B757s in Air Berlin livery took off from the Nuremberg (NUE) hub with Tenerife as its destination.

A Boeing 767 long-haul aircraft continues to operate under the Belair brand - in spring this will be changed over to the new corporate design of the Air Berlin Group. Air Berlin has entered into a partnership with the previous sole owner, Hotelplan AG, and has assumed commercial responsibility for the Swiss airline. Hotelplan remains Belair’s most important customer, which also offers flights to other tour operators, as well as selling seat-only tickets.

"Our integration within the Air Berlin Group means that our aircraft can now be operated to optimum capacity, which is why we will be taking on 50 additional employees in the coming months. We remain a strong brand and will continue to offer Swiss quality with Swiss crews and local catering." comment the CEO of Belair Airlines AG, Thomas Frischknecht.
